I will begin consulting in January 2024 after 15 years as executive director of The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in Amherst, MA. Before that, I was in the for-profit sector, as vice-president and editorial director for The Walt Disney Company's U.S. magazine group. I am interested in many aspects of leadership, including coaching, strategic planning, board development, team building and staff development, partnership opportunities, earned revenue, and building inclusive practices. I also have a passion for writing and editing in all its forms. My approach is to build relationships and trust through strong communication and create individual plans focused on the very specific needs of the organization.
