My expertise is in development and communications, with a focus on enabling organizations to build a foundation of best practices in order to build capacity and grow. My experience tells me that growth comes from assessing where an organization is currently and identifying its strengths and weaknesses; setting realistic goals within the organization's capacity; and developing a donor (or customer) centered approach with consistent and compelling messaging. My work has primarily been in the arts & culture and human services sectors, and has spanned decades serving in many capacities from Director of Development and Communications to Artistic Director to Executive Director, enabling me to bring many perspectives to the conversation. Adjunct professor at UCONN in Arts Administration.
